Mptest specializes in the manufacture of fixed-point cells and realization apparatus for temperatures defined by the ITS-90. The GD-2500S is a realization apparatus specifically designed for the zinc freezing point. This system features a temperature control stability of ±0.02 °C and is equipped with a bath boasting an aperture of 63.5 mm. The temperature controller incorporates a color touchscreen interface, which allows for the input of Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs) and provides a real-time curve display for observing the temperature plateau. It also includes a rate-controlled heating/cooling function to prevent excessively fast temperature ramps. The bath employs a metallic construction paired with a heat-transfer sleeve to ensure optimal thermal conductivity. This key design effectively suppresses overheating, thereby safeguarding the valuable fixed-point cell and ensuring the integrity of its performance.
