Mptest specializes in the manufacturing of fixed-point cells and realization apparatus for temperature standards as defined by the ITS-90. The GD-2680S is a realization apparatus specifically designed for the aluminum freezing point. It features a temperature control stability of ±0.02 °C and is equipped with a bath chamber boasting an aperture of 56 mm. The temperature controller incorporates a color touchscreen interface, which allows for the input of Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers (SPRTs) and provides a graphical curve display for observing the temperature plateau. A rate-controlled cooling/heating function is included to prevent excessively rapid temperature changes. The system utilizes a metallic bath design coupled with a heat-transfer sleeve to ensure optimal thermal conductivity. This key design effectively suppresses overheating, thereby safeguarding the valuable fixed-point cell and preserving its measurement integrity.
